# Custom holiday

We provide a new entity 'custom holiday', which allow you to define holidays. Holidays can be assigned to manufacturers and will if so, be taken into account for calculating the delivery date.

# Add a custom holiday

For adding a custom holiday go to Extensions > Custom holiday, there you will find an overview of all your custom holidays.

Click on 'Add holiday' to create a new holiday, this will take you to the holiday detail page.

Field	Description
Name	The name of the holiday
Holiday start and end	The start of the holiday and the end of the holiday.
Delivery times	The delivery time that needs to be added after the holiday is over
Active	A holiday can be active or inactive. If inactive, the holiday will be ignored.
Is a national holiday	Disables holiday end and delivery times. This holiday is always taken into account. If a delivery time falls on a national holiday, one day will be added. A National Holiday can only be one day
