# Changing the SEO url template

To change the SEO url template for stores, navigate to Settings > Shop > SEO in Shopware admin

To make sure the template can correctly generate a SEO url, refer to the generated preview below:

# Generating the SEO url

The SEO url for a store is generated when saving changes after editing the store. Navigate to Content > Stores - List and select a store to edit, then press the save button.

The SEO url for the store should now be generated!
